It would be hilarious if Mexico reclaimed Texas and made it into a progressive state and kicked the Repugs and white supremacists out or locked them up.
Thanks for a very informative article. I have tried not going to Buccee’s after learning that its owner is a big contributor to Republicans. It is also now time to stop giving our business to HEB. I have also been encouraging my wife , who is a prime member, to reduce purchases from Amazon and instead buy more from Costco or Target. Thoughts?
With Charles Butt putting $10 million into a PAC supporting public education, you know he cares about it. I just think he’s backing the wrong horses, maybe because they are the ones currently in power, maybe because he’s aligned with most of the other stuff they are pushing.
I still shop at HEB, as I think they have done more good than harm.

Ugh and I thought I was doing a good thing by shopping at HEB Central Market vs Whole Foods, owned by Bezos.
HEB also puts a lot of money into local communities and as Chris says Butt is a proponent for public schools.
