With the Houston Chronicle publishing an article on 5/7 on a bi-partisan House Concurrent Resolution declaring April as “Promise Month”, I need to dig into a few things with you all.
Oklahoma is now the ugly stepchild, thanks to Ryan Walters. He wants Bibles in every classroom, required school prayer and pledge of allegiance. He’s making the Bible part of the daily curriculum, in EVERY classroom, because it was ‘very influential’ to the history of the nation, and the state. (There is a reason we’re ranked 49th in education. It’s because of this, businesses don’t want to locate in Ok.) His blatant violations of the constitution, are disgusting and embarrassing. He has no business, in his position, or any other.
The state of Georgia was left off of the list. I'm not criticizing you, just pointing that out.
Great catch. I think when I was laying it out, I knew I had 13 bullets (with Plymouth and Massachusetts throwing off my count). Georgia is there now.
Thank you sir.
Thanks, Chris!

Important background to understand. When we say we must be able to worship freely, that includes everyone’s voice.
